Hunting for the BROWN BEAR in Kamchatka, Russia. SPRING BEAR HUNTING (April 25 - May 25): In April some parts of the peninsula are still under snow. Temperatures range from 0 to +10 °C during the day to -5 °C at night. If snowmobiling is possible, snowmobiles are used to drive the hunter to the area of hunting. Then the hunter and the guide hunt on foot or skiing (if you are more experienced with snowshoes, we recommend you bring them along). You will see with your own eyes the size and the color of its fur and you decide if you want it for your collection. You should bring the following gear with you: hip boots, windbreaker type light clothing for the day time, white camouflage, binoculars, sunglasses, skin protection cream. In some of our bear camps Capercaillie hunting is available in spring. If you would be interested in obtaining this great game, that can be staged at extra cost of US$ 500.00. Also in some bear camps fishing for Char and Rainbow trout is available once the hunt is over. You will be accommodated in hunting cabins, comfortable, spacious, and heated with firewood. Three of our camps are located near the hot mineral springs where you can relax and take a mineral bath after a hard day of hunting. In most camps there are saunas for your comfort. Our professional staff takes special care of our clients and will make your stay enjoyable and memorable. You will also have an abundance of Russian homestyle food in the camp. The interpreter will accompany you during the entire stay, both in the city and in the field.
